Sara has a vision for global awareness of all humans and how they fit into this world.  Learning and working collaboratively with each other and representing diverse cultures, religions, nationalities in a spirit of mutual respect and open dialogue to address contemporary global issues. 

After completing her BA in International Relations, Sara went on to continue her study in the same field.  Her desire is to obtain the knowledge and skills needed, through her education, work and volunteer experience that will allow a career path in dealing with complex humanitarian issues. 

Serves on the Board of Directors for the United Nations Association Tampa in which she leads several advocacy projects throughout the year. The UNA is a not-for-profit membership organization dedicated to building among the American people understanding of and support for the ideals and vital work of the United Nations System and seeks to build local public support for a leading U.S. role in the United Nations. 

Serves on the Board of Directors for Empowered – a young professionals organization who are dedicated to supporting and enhancing the mission of the American Red Cross-to provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies- through social networking, service projects and fundraising events. 

Her hobbies include traveling and experiencing other cultures, foods, traditions and languages.
