After finishing law school Siri has first and foremost worked as legal advisor in intergovernmental organizations including the European Commission, the European Free Trade Association as well as the Council of Europe. In the Council of Europe she was a key person in developing the work of the Forum for Children and Families (the main CoE body addressing children’s issue and children’s rights) and particularly worked on issues such as children and participation, child day care institutions, abolition of corporal punishment, children in residential care, as well as trafficking and sexual exploitation of children.


For the last few years Siri has lived in Zurich (Switzerland) with her husband and three children where she has undertaken consultancy as well as voluntary work related to children’s rights.
